From Childhood Dreams to a Thriving Social Enterprise

Have you heard of the tradition known as Pallada Vekkuga? It’s a fascinating custom where a child is presented with several objects to choose from, symbolizing their future interests. As a child, I instinctively picked a mini coconut and a knife. I vividly remember piercing the coconut with the knife, trying to create something by myself—a simple act that hinted at my love for crafting and working with tools.

This passion for creativity stayed with me throughout my school years. I used to fashion tiny rings from wood, sanding them on the ground and carving holes using broken glass. I still recall a classmate in 7th grade telling me, “You’ll live with this skill if you don’t find another job.” Little did they know how prophetic those words would be.

Over the years, my creative journey continued. From crafting Christmas stars for my family to taking on large-scale decoration projects during my MBA at Pondicherry University, I found joy in turning simple materials into something meaningful. I even painted murals on university walls, pouring my heart into every stroke.

The turning point came during the COVID-19 lockdown when I had time to immerse myself in crafts. Encouraged by family and friends—and even receiving offers from people wanting to buy my creations—I launched my personal art page, the__craft_man, on Instagram in 2018.

When I first started my creative journey, it was all about crafting large-scale wall decors. But as time went on, customer demand guided me in a new direction—handmade jewelry. Slowly, my focus shifted to jewelry and apparel, combining handcrafted pieces with carefully curated items to meet the growing demand.

In the early days, I worked alongside different people and sold through various brand names. However, as my vision grew clearer, I decided to create something unique—a brand that reflected my personal touch and values. This led to the birth of enzoh.in.

What began as a personal venture is now a social enterprise run by me, my parents, and close relatives. Our mission is not just to create beautiful jewelry but also to provide employment opportunities to our loved ones while fostering a sense of community.

We’re just at the beginning of this exciting journey, and with your support, the possibilities are endless. Welcome to enzoh.in, where passion meets purpose.
